Words, don't come easy to me...

Oh, god! The concert was PERFECT! I don't have enough WORDS to describe what I felt then and how I feel now... F.R.David and the band did such a good job! I have to admit that drummer took my breath away, his name is David, but unfortunately that's all what I know about him... :(
We smiled to each other many times, then I had a chance to exchange some sentences with him. We asked him if we could get autograph and picture with him. He merrily agreed. We made a picture with him and then he pulled us closer to himself and we made one litlle bit crazy picture, then he gave us his autographs.. I asked: "May I hug you?" He was like: "Uhm, what?". I asked again: "May I HUG you?". An he replied: "Absolutely!".. And we hugged.. French men hug so tightly... So sweeet! I also asked, if they will come back to Estonia and he said that hopefully yes.. It was pretty clever answer, because he didn't give too much hope and also didn't take away all our hopes. I thanked him, he said thanks to us also.. 
Then came guitarist, his name is Oliver, and we asked him to take picture with us, too. He also agreed and we got picture with him also. He gave us his autographs, too. Guys were really-really friendly and kind-hearted... I miss them now :(
But first who gave autographs and with who we got pictures were the Star himself - F.R.David. He put me a new name, I'm not Eleri anymore, now I'm Hilary :D 

This concert was one of the bestest I have experienced. I really hope they will come back soon... I could say I LOVE THEM! Great guys! Perfect trio!

My next concert

Tomorrow is an important day! I will see F.R.David with my own eyes.. He's giving a live concert in Pärnu, Kuursaal. Today he is giving a concert in Tallinn, Cafe Amigo. After the concert I will write a little bit about that. But everybody, who knows me, know that I'm reallllllllyyyyy excited at the moment!!! So waiting for it!

80's movies

I haven't been here quite long time. But it doesn't mean that I have been far away from 80's. NO WAY! 80's are always with me!

For example, I have watched four 80's movies during last week.

These were: "Mannequin", "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Flashdance" and "Pet Sematary". I will make summaries about them one day. I promise that it will happen soon! ;)

In the meantime - enjoy 80's as much as you can!

My thoughts about 80's

I was born in 1992, so I have no personal connection with this magnificent decade. My childhood consisted of funny clothing which everbody hate nowadays, though music was quite good back then, too.
So.. 80's - the unforgettable decade in human history - has been in my mind 3 years at least, maybe even more. When people ask me how did I find my way to 80's music, then I can't answer to them, because I don't remember this exact moment. I wish I could remember, but it's not possible. Some signs give me a little implication about the time I was already addicted to 80's, but that's all.
I don't know where to start from.. I adore 80's fashion, I love 80's music, I like 80's movies and so on. I leave music last one and start with movies. It's like putting the best one in the end...Curiosity must arise! 

MOVIES

I haven't seen a lot of movies from this decade, so I need improvement time. As a matter of fact 80's music has been my main interest. Style and movies came later.

Which movies are well-known nowadays, but were made in 80's? Of course Batman (1989), Beverly Hills Cop I & II (1984, 1987), The Breakfast Club (1985), Die Hard (1988), Dirty Dancing (1987), Ghostbusters (1984), Police Academy (1984), Rain Man (1988), The Terminator (1984), Top Gun (1986) and so on! There are so many interesting movies, which are worth of watching. Surely there are movies, which were complete disasters, but we can find such movies today, too.

There are 3 movies, that mean the most for me (maybe because I haven't seen many 80's movies). 

1. Dirty Dancing (1987)
2. A Fish Called Wanda (1988)
3. The Breakfast Club (1985)

FASHION

Leg warmers, parachute pants, neon, acid washed jeans, oversized shirts, jelly shoes (jellies), jumpsuits, leather jackets, dresses and so on! This list goes on and on, 'cause 80's was the craziest decade in fashion history. Everything fitted with everything - blue blouse, pink pants, crazy haircut, lots of make-up. No one looked at you as you were clown, because it was stylish! Nowadays you can't wear everything what you want because someone has always something bad to say.
I love leg warmers, have even made some pairs by myself. Then I have some excellent 80's dresses and of course pink leggings!

And I LOVE making myself look pretty.. Usually I don't look pretty (hahahaha), but then I can put on so much make-up that even I look kinda pretty... Make-up does wonders!

MUSIC

I have nothing to say! 80's music takes me to heaven! I could listen to it over and over again! Sandra, Modern Talking, C.C.Catch, Joy.... Those are only few of artists I adore!  Honestly, I'm speechless when I have to talk about 80's music.. It was something unprecedented... This time people knew how to make music.. Well, I just go and listen to 80's music, bye!!!

So hello everybody!

I'm here and this is my new blog. I've got another blog, too and it's here.
This blog is going to be only in English, because I know that there's not so much people loving 80's in Estonia. But I WANT my 80's blog to become number one world hit! No no, just joking! It's evident that a blog which is written in English will have more readers.. And there are so much people who love 80's in the world! I hope my blog will satisfy their emotional needs... I would be happy if someone would write a blog about 80's (music, movies, literature, style etc).

NB! This blog will express my feelings about 80's, so you might not find everything you are looking for from here..

But hopefully you will enjoy it, because kick-off has been given!
